CLEAR PRIMERS

SPESCOAT DEEP-TREAT

is a clear, water-repellent preservative for uncoated timber. It is suitable as a pre-treatment prior to painting or staining or varnishing. Deep-treat reduces the excessive intake and release of moisture, therefore minimising warping and splitting of timber. Can be over coated after 12-24 hours

SPESCOAT DEEP-TREAT AQ

is a water based clear, water-repellent preservative for uncoated timber. Deeptreat AQ is a low VOC, waterbased, environmentally friendly replacement for Deeptreat and equals or surpasses the performance of its older solvent based namesake. It is suitable as a pre-treatment prior to painting or staining or varnishing. Deep-treat AQ reduces the excessive intake and release of moisture, therefore minimising warping and splitting of timber. Can be over coated after 12-24 hours.

FORMINEX TIMBER PRESERVER and PRIMER

High epoxy-resin content, timber preserver. Contains biocides to protect timber from black spot and other fungi. An exceptional moisture blockout sealer for all timbers. Particularly suitable for marine timbers or those exposed to excessive moisture. Can be painted over or clear finished.

ONE PACK CLEAR FINISHES

SPESCOAT FLOOR-THANE

is a clear single pack, moisture cured urethane, for use on interior timber, where a very hard wearing coating is required e.g. floors, commercial joinery, restaurant tables and bars. It is available in gloss or may have FLATTING MEDIUM added to it to create a satin finish. Very durable, fast drying and easy to apply.

SPESCOAT AQUA-THANE

is a water based replacement for single pack and moisture cure clear polyurethanes, available in gloss or satin finishes. For use on interior joinery, furniture and floors. It has excellent resistance to abrasion, heat, moisture, and most oils, solvents and chemicals.

TUNG-OIL SEALER

is a single pack, traditional, tung-oil resin based timber sealer, for use on interior timber. It is particularly suitable for use on timber where excessive shrinkage or expansion is likely to occur.

is a single pack clear polyurethane, available in gloss or satin, for use on interior joinery and furniture. It has excellent resistance to abrasion, heat, moisture, and most oils, solvents and chemicals.

SPESCOAT INTERIOR DANISH OIL

is a clear, penetrating oil/resin finish for interior timber e.g. furniture, doors, windows, skirting boards etc. It has a hand polished, low-lustre appearance. It is hard wearing, abrasion, heat and moisture resistant. It is a sealer in its own right or it may be used as a rejuvenator for surfaces previously coated with varnish, french polish etc.

FORMINEX FORMARINE VARNISH

Single pack polyurethane varnish for interior and exterior surfaces. It's excellent UV protection and abrasion resistance makes it ideal in marine situations. Available in gloss and satin (Satin not suitable for exterior) Also available in Teak.

SPESCOAT WOOD-OIL and WOOD-OIL PLUS

are a clear, hard wearing, penetrating, oil / resin blends for exterior timber. Wood-Oil and Wood-Oil Plus contain a fungicide and are therefore resistant to mould attack and are formulated to resist darkening with age. Wood-Oil and Wood-Oil Plus are non film-forming, so cannot crack peel or blister. They may also be used as an oil finish for timber floors. WOOD-OIL PLUS contains a small quantity of transparent pigment that has almost no impact on colour once applied but prolongs the life of the coating on your timber.

SPESCOAT DECK AQ

is a water based penetrating timber finish for use on exterior timber decks and other timber. It can also be used on some interior timber surfaces. SPESCOAT DECK AQ is a low build coating that will not give a “coated plastic” look to painted timber thus keeping a more natural appearance. SPESCOAT DECK AQ contains approved fungicides and preservatives. It is therefore resistant to mould attack and is formulated to resist darkening with age. SPESCOAT DECK AQ applied correctly does not crack, peel or blister. Formulated to be an enviromentally friendly replacement for Wood-Oil, Deck AQ is low odour, low VOC and easily outperforms Wood Oil.

TWO PACK CLEAR FINISHES

FORMINEX SUPERGLOSS U.V. CLEAR

Premium high-build, two-pack, water clear (non-yellowing) polyurethane for interior and exterior use. Has excellent UV chemical and abrasion resistance and long life gloss. Excellent graffiti resistance over porous surfaces. Ideal as floor and timber coating where a non-yellowing finish is required.

FORMINEX CLEAR EPOXY 2 to 1 CASTING RESIN

An extremely strong, high build laminating or casting resin. Very popular as a self levelling finish for timber. Frequently used on redgum, ironbark and huon pine slabs. Also used for craft work. Can be applied up to 5-6mm in a single application. Crystal clear and solvent free (low odour). No shrinkage. Can be over coated with most clear finishes.

OTHER

SPESCOAT TIMBER-CLEAN

is a non-bleaching cleaner for restoring dirty, weather stained timber. It removes rust and tannin stains, most mould, fungus, cement marks and oil/grease without damaging the timber. Removes oxidised pigments from paint and fibreglass. Brightens stainless-steel.

SPESCOAT MOP TOP

is a mop on, wax free polish for use over timber finishes such as TUNG-OIL SEALER, FLOOR-THANE, FLOOR-TUFF and a variety of other timber and cork sealers. It can also be used to maintain sealed: slate, terracotta, concrete, ceramic tiles, and vinyl. It provides a durable scuff resistant surface that is easily maintained as necessary.
